So while your mind is filled with enlightening self-care knowledge, you find yourself in a bit of a rut…because “donuts are easier to grab” and you “need your Mocha Venti Cappuccino with two scoops of sugar and cream in order to function.”
The rut gets deeper and deeper when you look in the mirror and see:

Hi there! A little about me…
My name is Jennie Fagen and I am an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.
I don’t know about you, but I LOVE to eat. I grew up in a household of boys, so I never wanted to be one of those “girly girls” who ate salads all day long and worried about their weight. I was more of a burger and fries kind of gal.
The thing is, sure I loved eating pasta, burgers, bagels, and cookies (not all the time, but c’mon), but I also noticed that I didn’t feel the greatest after I ate them. In fact I would get stomach aches all the time. I remember being a little girl and waking up with stomach pains every morning. I wanted to tell my mom but didn’t say anything, because I knew other kids made up excuses for why they couldn’t go to school and I didn’t want to be those kids. Usually the pains would go away. I also had extremely dry skin (it would crack and bleed in the winter time), acid reflux, chronic cysts on my ovaries, no period, a heart murmur, and a whole slew of issues that I’ll leave for another day and time. I couldn’t help but think, Whyyy meeee???
It wasn’t until I was older that I even made a connection between food and how I was feeling.
Well I’m not sure if that made things better or worse. Now that I made the connection, knowing WHAT to eat WHEN and HOW was confusing and just plain overwhelming.
I’m going to fast forward to today.
Eventually I found my answer. And it wasn’t dieting, calorie counting, or running myself ragged at the gym.
My approach to nutrition is integrative, which means that I believe it’s more than just the foods we are putting in our bodies that contribute to our health; It’s our lifestyle, environment, physical activity, spirituality, relationships, and mindset as well. As a health coach, my desire is to help you with living a practical and healthy lifestyle where I teach you how to manage and maintain your stress, your weight, and hold you accountable to commit to the version of yourself that is 100% in your power. I understand that everyone has different needs and I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
